Description
Acetolactate Synthase catalyzes the decarboxylation of pyruvate and its condensation with another pyruvate molecule to form the acetyl lactate, ultimately leading to the synthesis of branched amino acids valine, leucine and isoleucine. This product is a crude enzyme solution obtained through simple purification from E. coli crude extracts, with a certain level of Acetolactate Synthase activity.
