Principle

Oxolinic Acid ELISA kit is a competitive enzymeimmunoassay for the quantitative analysis of Oxolinic Acid in fish, shrimp and tissue.

The coupling antigens are coated on the micro-wellstripes. The Oxolinic Acid in the sample and the coupling antigens coated onthe micro-well stripes compete for the anti-Oxolinic Acid antibodies. After theaddition of the conjugated antibody, the TMB substrate is added for coloration.

The optical density (OD) value of the sample has a negativecorrelation with the Oxolinic Acid in it. The measurement is madephotometrically at 450nm. The absorption is inversely proportional to theOxolinic Acid concentration in the sample.
