Bovine Early Pregnancy Rapid Test

This reagent is based on the principle of colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay (GICA) and isused for the detection of pregnancy-associated glycoproteins (PAGs) in bovine serum samples. The sample is added to the spiking wells and moved along the chromatographic membrane with the colloidal gold marker.

Summary

If pregnancy-associated glycoproteins (PAGs) are present in the sample, they bind to colloidal gold markers and antibodies on the test line and show a purplish-red color, while no color reaction occurs if the amount of pregnancy-associated glycoproteins (PAGs) in the sample is below the detection threshold.

Sample preparation
1.Serum: extract 2~3mL of blood in a clean and dry test tube according to the routine method, leave it for about 1hour, wait for the blood to coagulate and then centrifuge the blood at 4000rpm for 10min (or leave the blood for about 2 hours, wait for the blood to coagulate and naturally dialyze out the serum), and then separate the serum.
2.The serum is required to be clear, without hemolysis and contamination. Serum samples can be stored at 2～8℃ for short term, and at -20℃ for long term.

Procedure
1.Serum spiking method: Tear open the aluminum foil pouch of the test card, take out the test card, put it on a flat, clean table, use the pipette in the pouch to take 2 drops of serum and add it slowly to the spiking hole.
2.Leave it at room temperature and judge the result in 10~ 15 minutes, the color development result after 15 minutes is invalid.
